INFORMATION FOR
Mentors

Being a mentor at RAISE UP is more than a role; it’s a transformative experience that creates meaningful change in the lives of survivors of domestic violence. Our mentors play a crucial role in our mission, embodying the spirit of empowerment and support.

TRAINING: All our mentors undergo comprehensive training, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to be exceptional mentors. This training ensures that our mentors are well-prepared to work alongside our scholarship recipients, guiding them through their educational journey and empowering them to achieve their fullest potential. We are committed to providing ongoing support to our mentors, enabling them to foster meaningful relationships and facilitate positive outcomes.

HELPING OTHERS: Mentors at RAISE UP have the opportunity to make a significant impact on someone else’s life. Drawing from their own tertiary education experiences, mentors guide and support our scholarship recipients, offering valuable insights and encouragement. By sharing their knowledge and expertise, mentors help survivors navigate the challenges of higher education, ensuring their success and fostering a sense of achievement.

NETWORKS: Our mentors not only guide scholarship recipients but also form a vibrant community within RAISE UP Foundation. Through training sessions and connection events, mentors have the chance to expand their networks and connect with a diverse range of individuals associated with RAISE UP. These connections not only enhance personal and professional growth but also contribute to building a supportive and empowering environment within the foundation.

Being a mentor at RAISE UP Foundation is a rewarding and enriching experience. It’s an opportunity to contribute to the success of survivors, create lasting connections, and be part of a community dedicated to making a positive difference. Join us in illuminating paths to success and empowering survivors to thrive. Become a Mentor. Make a Difference.
