A RAISE UP Scholarship includes...
​
SCHOLARSHIPS: RAISE UP Foundation scholarship recipients receive a full scholarship towards completing a level 7 tertiary qualification. This is paid over 3 years for full time study. They also receive up to $1000 each year for course related costs. But they also receive a lot more...
​
MENTORS: Scholarship recipients are also paired with a mentor, who has previously completed a tertiary degree, to support them through their education journey.
​
SUPPORT: Scholarship recipient graduates are supported into their first jobs with CV and cover letter development and interviewing skills.

Scholarship Recipient Criteria...
​

Must be a survivor of domestic violence

Priority will be given to survivors of intimate partner violence​ and survivors who are parents
-

Have been away from the abuser for at least 6 months
-
Receiving or have received some form of counselling
-
Legal citizen or resident of New Zealand
-
Have a strong desire to better themselves through higher education
-
Have clear career goals
-
Likely to be accepted in a level 7 tertiary programme
